Frozen Fruits. Frutas Congeladas

Once again my friend Aine gave me a good idea, this time is about freezing fruits to use them when making smoothies or even as fancy ice cubes (see picture).

This way you can make your smoothies without adding ice and also you can store fruit for longer.

You can try with any fruit as long as it’s ripe, for bananas and apples add some lemon juice to avoid getting darker. Chop it up, bag it up and freeze it. Peel and chop bananas, core and slice apples and pears, hull strawberries, destone and chop plums, mangoes and other stone fruit. Pop them in sealable sandwich bags, in whatever combination you like, and place them in the freezer ready to use when you fancy.
